That’s it, over for another year or maybe two.
So it’s the Monday after the last day of the Emsworth Arts Trail 2025, and I have spent my morning diligently flushing out the caterpillar infestation from our tree, as they are slowly but surely destroying it. Anyway, the five days of the Arts Trail turned out to be great; it is always nice to see new faces visit our venue, and it’s even more special to recognize the familiar faces of people who made the trip to visit us again. We even had a few visitors return after having visited us on a previous day of this year’s art trail, bringing along some family or friends to share in the experience. Although the number of visits was down from last year—approximately 20% lower—I still managed to cover my costs, I think, maybe not 100%, but I’m nearly there. I am currently debating whether to take a year off for the 2026 arts trail since we have quite a lot going on next year around this same time, and it is also a lot to ask my family and friends to give up a day or two to ensure that I am not on my own when we are open. Particularly on those days when the weather isn’t great, and you end up feeling generally cold to the bone. So, stay tuned for updates. Below are some pictures taken during the event. And a big thank you to all of the visitors.
